TEHRAN (IQNA) – The deputy secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement said the people of Palestine will emerge from the war on Gaza stronger than before.

Sheikh Naim Qassem

Sheikh Naim Qassem said the Zionist regime is incapable of destroying the cause of Palestine through its aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The resistance forces will remain steadfast and disappoint the enemy, he stressed.

The senior cleric stressed that the Israeli regime has achieved nothing in its 50 days of aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Even their forces held by the resistance were released in a prisoner exchange not in the battlefield, he noted.

The war the occupation forces have launched is futile and its outcomes would be to the detriment of Israel, he stated.

Sheikh Qassem added that the Palestinians will emerge stronger from this war while Israel will get out weaker.

He also underline the bond between the resistance forces in Palestine and Lebanon and said Hezbollah will spare no help that is necessary for the Palestinian resistance to achieve victory against the enemy.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 in response to the surprise operation dubbed Al-Aqsa Flood by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas against the occupying entity. This was a response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

According to the Gaza-based health ministry, over 15,500 Palestinians, including more than 6,500 children and 4,000 women, have been killed in Israeli strikes. Many more are feared to be under the rubble.
