TEHRAN (IQNA) – The existence of just laws is a prerequisite for upholding justice in any society.

Laws in society

Upholding justice is of paramount importance and that is why there may be no government that does not talk about the truth and justice and does not consider itself supportive of the society’s rights and interests.

Every law should be introduced while taking into account all dimensions of human life.

A law based on man's need for food, clothing, and shelter cannot be a just law because it deals only with the materialistic dimension of man.

A law can lead to the growth and perfection of man whose legislator is far from personal and group interests and from personal and group despotism.

It is very important to take into account the criteria based on which laws are introduced and to see whose interests they protect.

Moreover, they originate from the limitless source of God’s knowledge and wisdom, are not based on worldly desires and whims, and are not intended to safeguard personal or group interests.
