TEHRAN (IQNA) – In all societies, people commend someone who demonstrates steadfastness in upholding justice and stands up to oppressors.

justice

This is because supporting justice and fighting oppression and injustice are intrinsic and a natural demand that is rooted in human Fitrat (nature).

God says in Verse 8 of Surah Ash-Shams: “: Then He inspired it (the human Nafs or self) to understand what is right and wrong for it (based on Fitrat).”

Imagine a child gives you an apple to keep for him while he goes to drink some water. When he returns and sees that you have eaten the apple, he gets angry because you have betrayed his trust. He recognizes this from Fitrat and understands that betraying a person’s trust is a vice. There is no need for a teacher or educator to teach this to the child.

Justice is among the concepts that mankind adores and cherishes by Fitrat. That is why even oppressors and unjust people try to justify their actions and somehow portray them as just.

Imagine some people who join together to commit a robbery. After they have taken the stolen data-x-items to a safe place, they say, "Let's divide the data-x-items justly and fairly. Even if they do not say it out loud, they want it to happen in their hearts, and if one of them tries to take a bigger share, the others would get upset.
