Gaza War’s Outcome to Be A Victory for Palestinian Nation: Hezbollah

IQNA – The deputy secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement said the outcome of the war on Gaza, whatever it may be, will mark a victory for the Palestinian nation.

Sheikh Naim Qassem made the remark in an address to an international conference of resistance scholars.

Dubbed Bunyan Marsus (a solid structure), the conference was held in Beirut on Monday, Al-Ahed News reported.

Sheikh Qassem said everyone has realized by now that the people of the Gaza Strip remain steadfast in their resistance against the Zionist regime.

The resistance is legitimate and will result in honor and glory, he went on to say.

The cleric referred to the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation launched by Gaza resistance forces against the Zionist regime on October 7 and said carrying out the operation was the legitimate right of Palestinians who have been facing occupation for 75 years.

He said the Zionist regime is an aggressor and a usurper entity created by the world arrogance to take control of the region.

Israeli could not have continued its attacks without ammunition, arms and financial support from the US, he stated.

Sheikh Qassem underscored that the Israeli onslaughts will get nowhere and no matter how the aggression ends, it would be a triumph for Palestinians.

The Palestinian nation is standing firm and prevented Israel from reaching its goals, he said.

The people of Gaza have proven their steadfastness and will not give up the resistance, he added.

Despite its genocidal war that has killed at least 30,410 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 71,700 others since October 7, the Israeli regime has failed to reach its goals in the Gaza Strip.
