According to the dar-alquran.org website, the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) holy shrine in the city also cooperated in holding the educational program.
Ali Abulhassan, head of the Dar-ol-Quran’s branch in Syria, said that it was a part of the Quranic programs of the branch held to develop Quran education in the region.
Seventy-five male and female Quran teachers including the members of the Dar-ol-Quran’s branch in Lebanon as well as Quran teachers from Sayyidah Zeynab district of Damascus and the cities of Homs, Latakia and some other parts of Syria took the course, he said.
Abulhassan added that lessons on Tajweed and Quran memorization methods were taught in the course by experts from the Dar-ol-Quran of the holy city of Karbala.
