Al-Aqsa Flood Operation Made Palestine Muslim World’s No 1 Issue Again: Iran’s FM
Hossein Amirabdollahian made the remark in a meeting in Tehran with a delegation from the Assembly of Lebanese Muslim Scholars, slamming the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes against the people of Palestine, especially those in the Gaza Strip.
He also condemned the United States’ all-out support for the Israeli crimes.
Amirabdollahian stressed the need for taking practical steps to pressure the child-killing Zionist regime to stop its atrocities.
The Iranian foreign minister further hailed the positive role of the Assembly of Lebanese Muslim Scholars in confronting enemy plots aimed at fomenting discord and disunity among Islamic schools of thought.
He added that Muslim scholars play a major role in raising awareness and insight in the society about the facts and developments in the Islamic world.

Senior members of the Lebanese delegation, for their part, briefed Amirabdollahian on the activities and objectives of the assembly, stressing its efforts to enhance Muslim unity and to promote support for Islamic resistance in the region, especially in Palestine.
They also lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for unity in the Muslim world and for backing the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian nation against Israeli occupation, aggression and atrocities.
