Quran Recitation Session Planned on First Day of Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The annual Quran Recitation Ceremony of the first day of the holy month of Ramadan will be held later today with the presence of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

In accordance with the annual tradition, the Quran Recitation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, marking the first day of Ramadan in Iran.

It will be broadcast live starting at 6 PM local time by a number of national channels and by the various official social media accounts of Khamenei.ir.

Due to the health guidelines issued by the National Committee on Combating Coronavirus advising against all forms of public gatherings, this year’s ceremony will be held via a live videoconference with a number of prominent reciters of the Holy Quran in the presence of Imam Khamenei, according to the website of the Leader’s office.
