TEHRAN (IQNA) – A delegation of female Iranian Quran activists paid a visit to the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine in Najaf, Iraq.

The delegation, from the central Iranian province of Isfahan, was welcomed by Sayyed Muhammad Ali Habl-ul-Matin, the president of the center and Anwar al-Hasnawi, in charge of the women’s section of the Quranic center.

During the visit, Al-Hasnawi presented a report on the activities of the Dar-ol-Quran center and its Quranic programs.

Batul Shahshahani, the head of the delegation, called for enhancing Quranic activities between the center and the Jameat-ol-Quran Kareem Center in Isfahan.

Since the fall of the former Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein’s regime, Quranic activities have spread significantly in the Arab country.

Cooperation between Iran and Iraq in Quranic fields, among other areas, has also been growing in recent years.
