Quranic Arts Competition to Be Held in Qatif
TEHRAN (IQNA) - A competition on Quranic arts has been planned to be held on August 27 and 28 in Qatif Governorate in Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
According to Qaf news agency, the Quranic Center of Umm Al-Hammam District in the region will organize the competition on the 20th anniversary of its establishment.
“Visual arts”, “Quranic calligraphy”, “Quranic short films” and “photography” are the categories of the competition.
The 8th of July has been announced as the deadline for the submission of art works for the competition.
Selected Quranic artworks will be displayed in an exhibition to be held on the sidelines of the competition.
