Qom to Host “Int’l Humanitarian Laws and Islam” Course

A specialized course on “International Humanitarian Laws and Islam” will be organized by the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (AS) in the holy city of Qom.


The center will host the course on December 19 and 20 with the participation of intellectuals and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in the Islamic Republic of Iran.



The course aims to promote the knowledge level of Hawzah scholars and seminarians particularly in the field of Islamic teachings on humanitarian laws.



Those studying at the second level of seminary schools or holding MA degrees in humanitarian and international laws are qualified to attend the course.



The participants will be granted scientific certificates by the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imam (AS) and the Center for Comparative Studies of Islam and Humanitarian Laws.



Formation, principles, sources and territory of humanitarian laws, influential international organizations in humanitarian laws and the guarantee of the laws, children, women and elders in the international humanitarian laws and Islam, supporting medical staff, journalists and religious cadre in the laws and Islam, environment and non-military zones in the laws and Islam, etc. will be among the themes to be discussed at the course.



Imam Khomeini (RA) Hall of the center will host the course which is to be attended by the intellectuals of seminary schools.
