It includes over 60 paintings, each with some verses of the Holy Book.
The exhibition was inaugurated in Doha by Dr Khalid binIbrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager, Katara, and Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani.
Al Sulaiti said the exhibition includes some Quranic verses which talk about peace and the paintings are from a collection at the museum. The expo aims to say to Muslims and non-Muslims that Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance, he added.
Sheikh Faisal said the exhibition also aims to highlight the important of peace in Islam. The next exhibition will be about women in Quran and their position in Islam, he added.
