Hezbollah Chief, Hamas Delegation Discuss Developments in Palestine
The Hamas delegation was led by the deputy chief of the movement’s political bureau Saleh al-Arouri, Al-Ahed News reported.
According to a statement released by Hezbollah, the two sides discussed the latest developments in occupied Palestine, especially the heroic resistance of the Palestinians in the West Bank and the holy city of al-Quds.
They also exchanged views about the political developments in the region as well as the responsibilities of resistance movements and the axis of resistance under the current circumstances.
A day earlier, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement Ziyad al-Nakhala had met with Nasrallah in Beirut.
The meetings come as tension have escalated across the Palestinian territories recently amid repeated Israeli military raids into Palestinian towns.
The Israeli regime has escalated its attacks on Palestinians and its provocative moves in recent weeks.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday that a total of 88 Palestinians have been martyred across Palestine since the beginning of 2023.
