Islamic Jihad Chief Meets with Nasrallah

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah met with Hezbollah chief Sayed Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon.

During the meeting, the two sides held talks about regional developments especially those in Palestine, Al-Manar reported.

Nasrallah and Nakhalah underlined the need for continued interaction between Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad in order to enhance coordination and strengthen the power of the resistance against the Israeli regime.

Referring to the growing resistance in the West Bank and the holy city of al-Quds, Nasrallah praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli regime’s crimes.

Tension have escalated across the Palestinian territories recently amid repeated Israeli military raids into Palestinian towns.

The Israeli regime has escalated its attacks on Palestinians and its provocative moves in recent weeks.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday that a total of 88 Palestinians have been martyred across Palestine since the beginning of 2023.
