Seven Answers of Prophets to Key Questions of Mankind
All people have a feeling of immortality and the continuation of life after death. On the other hand, any inner feeling can be answered in two approaches:
1) A temporary and false answer
2) A reasonable, permanent, and honest answer
For instance, consider someone who is thirsty; one can guide him to an actual spring that bears freshwater or to a mirage.
One of the inherent principles in humans is related to the feeling of worship and love. If this natural desire is not guided toward God, people will end up lost in the realm of superstitions and imagination
What do prophets say?
Prophets say:
1) The creation of man was not pointless. “Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us?” (Surah Al-Mu’minun, verse 115)
2) The creation of man has a major objective and that is to choose the correct path and serve God. “I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me.” (Surah Adh-Dhariyat, verse 56)
3) Humans are given everything that they need to achieve their aims. “Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you all that is on the earth.” (Surah Al-Hajj, verse 65)
4) Every deed of people counts. “Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.” (Surah Al-Zalzalah, verses 7-8)
5) Humans will be held accountable for their deeds. “Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns.” (Surah Al-Mudassir, verse 38)
6) Every body organ will be asked on the Day of Judgment: “The hearing, sight and heart about all these you shall be questioned.” (Surah Al-Isra', verse 36)
7) God never neglects the gooddoers. “Allah does not waste the wage of the gooddoers.” (Surah At-Tawbah, verse 120)
These are the answers that divine prophets have provided to inherent desires of people. Every one of these answers is based on a reasonable ground which will be discussed in future articles.
