New Quran Memorization Centers Planned in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Ministry of Awqaf (endowments) announced that it plans to open new centers for training Quran memorizers in the near future.

 

According to elbalad.news, it also announced that the objective of the ministry is to train a generation of Quran memorizers who are not exposed to extremist thoughts.

The ministry has already established ten Quran memorization centers that will be opened soon.

Those who successfully graduate from the centers will receive Quran memorizer certificates approved by the ministry.

They will also be permitted to open Quran memorization centers under the supervision of the ministry.

Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.

Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.

Quranic activities, including memorization of the Holy Book, are very common in the Arab country.
